The Walker Wellness Clinic is a residential eating disorder treatment program with our outpatient and aftercare treatment facility based in Dallas at Cooper Aerobics Center. We are ideally situated on the world famous 30 acre preventive medicine campus with access to a 62 room guest lodge for patients and families to reside during treatment, and comprehensive medical services at Cooper Clinic. In addition, on-campus restaurants, catering services and a cookery compliment quality nutrition treatment for all patients. Furthermore, facilities such as a full service spa, Dermatology Services, fitness center, tennis courts and swimming pools are accessible for patients who are ready to transition to an active lifestyle. The tranquil setting, extensive facilities, private suites, comprehensive programs and experienced clinicians create the ideal milieu for exceptional treatment.

                                                                           Candidates for Residential Treatment

Persons 18yrs. and older who are medically stable and who have been unresponsive to outpatient care may be successfully treated in our specialized residential program. This level of care can also include individuals whose eating disorder might not yet have progressed to the degree of acuity that would require inpatient (24 hour) care but still require a treatment level that is intensive. In addition “ The weekender” residential eating disorder treatment is clinically and custom designed for patients who are medically stable and unavailable to pursue treatment during the weekdays due to their schedule conflicts with academics, occupational, extracurricular or family activities. *Parents or family members (over 18) are required to reside with under 18yr patients.

The Walker Wellness Clinic at Cooper Aerobics Center goes beyond traditional treatment and clinical services to incorporate a daily dose of health and joy back into your life. Give your mind and body a retreat from the stressors of your everyday routine and learn to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle as you overcome your eating disorder.

When Privacy and Confidentiality is of Utmost Importance

All treatment is conducted in the privacy and comfort of the beautiful campus. If you prefer to live independently we will provide a private luxury suite (no dorm, and no roommates) for the entirety of your stay with us. We place more emphasis on individual psychotherapy and nutrition therapy than typical treatment programs. Therefore, your treatment will be a clinically designed plan that is unique to your needs. If you require anonymity, it will be your choice of whether you would like to participate in groups. Meal therapies may also be in private with your appointed dietitian on or off campus or in a small group setting.
