Day Program Intensive & Standard Outpatient

Eating Disorder Treatment Program: Day Program

With the exception of Residential treatment our day program is our most comprehensive clinical outpatient program that we offer at The Walker Wellness Clinic. It can be a transition or alternative program for inpatient or partial hospitalization and may be convenient for patients who require intensive treatment, but do not want to disrupt the quality of their lifestyle such as academic functioning or career development. In addition, individuals who are medically stable that have been unresponsive to outpatient care may be successfully treated in our specialized intensive outpatient program without resorting to more costly hospitalization.

The Day Program is ideally suited for patients who need to stabilize and provide a more intensive approach to the recovery of their eating disorder, depression, anxiety disorder, or obsessive disorder. Therefore, our program is designed for patients who require an intensive multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of their eating disorder. Treatment may involve 12 to 25 hours of treatment a week. Patients may be enrolled in the following clinical services and the adjunct services are selected by the patient and the psychotherapist will clinically recommend the appropriate psychological test battery.
